You have 30 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return. No questions asked.

Cut-off Time for Order Processing
Orders placed before 3PM (London Time) will begin processing on the next business day.

Orders placed after 3PM will be processed on the following business day(s).

Return Eligibility
To be eligible for a return, items must meet the following conditions:

  • Unused & Unworn: Items must not have been worn, washed, or altered in any way
  • Original Condition: Items must be in their original condition with all tags attached
  • Original Packaging: Items should be returned in their original packaging when possible
  • Sale Items: Items purchased on sale are also eligible for return within the 30-day period

Return Process

Step 1: Request a Return Form
Contact us at info@root-footwear.com with: your order number, reason for return and photos of the item (if defective or damaged)

Step 2: Complete the Form
Once you've received the return form, fill it out clearly and include it in your return package.

Step 3: Ship the Item
Send your return package to the address provided using a tracked and insured shipping method.

Important: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. As a business, we strive to keep our prices competitive, and covering return shipping would impact our ability to do so. Neither are we responsible for lost or damaged return packages.

Step 4: Processing Time
Once your return is received at our warehouse, we will process it within 3 business days and notify you via email.

Refund Processing
Once your return is received and inspected you will receive an email confirmation. If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5 business days.

Please allow an additional 3-5 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.

Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven't received your refund or confirmation email within 5 business days after we've processed your return, please

  • Check your bank account
  • Contact your credit card company, as processing times may vary
  • Contact your bank, as there may be processing delays
  • If the issue persists, email us at info@root-footwear.com

Request an exchange
Please reach out to info@root-footwear.com. Include your order number, attach clear photos of the defective or damaged item, and clearly describe the issue. We will assess your request and provide instructions for the next steps. If approved, we will cover the shipping costs for the replacement.

Cancellation Window
Order cancellations are only possible within 2 hours of placing your order. After this window, orders cannot be cancelled as they are already being processed and prepared for shipment.

Can't cancel in time? Don't worry, you can always wait until your order arrives and then decide whether to keep or return it within our 30-day money-back guarantee period.

Delivered But Not Received
If you receive a delivery confirmation email but haven't received your package, please contact us within 2 days at info@root-footwear.com.

If you don't contact us within 5 business days of the delivery confirmation, Root Footwear cannot be held responsible, and you will need to initiate an investigation with the courier service.

Missing Items
If any items are missing from your order, contact us immediately at info@root-footwear.com, and we will resolve the issue swiftly.

This policy is effective as of June 28, 2025, and supersedes all previous return and refund policies.
